Distant though always in my memory,
Absent but never far from my heart,
Time and space separate us only physically,
Simple physics can't forever keep us apart,

Though our paths have for far too long diverged,
And our lives live on alone and without,
Soon and forever our souls will once again merge,
Of this I'm certain, withholding no sense of doubt,

When the world stops spinning and settles true,
When calm returns us back to where we start,
You will find me standing again beside you,
You'll find us together as if only one part,

We stand aloof amidst chaotic swirl,
Through turmoil, strife the world can rearrange,
Steadfast, sure against the tumult, one boy, one girl,
Reunited we'll stand against the winds of change,

And so dear love, withstand the loneliness,
And soon dear one, the walls will be dissolved,
And what keeps us apart will no longer bind us,
And our reunion with be finally resolved.
